Theme: Back to School

Our meeting on September 25th was shy a few officers. They were either sick or out of town. However, that did not dampen the fellowship and magic for the night. Our President, Dave Wintermute, started the evening with a few quick announcements and it was on to the magic.

First up was Mark Weidhaas, he brought his computer to play a DVD that entertained and challenge us. It was called "Who wants to be a magical Genius?" We were able to answer all but one of the questions correctly. (Of course it took all of us to come up with the correct answers)

TJ Terzina showed his escaping abilities with the Siberian Chain Escape.

Martin Emeson was explaining how he uses the Break Away Fan to entertain 3rd graders.

Dick Bowman could not get a spectator to choose the Queen of Hearts when he was performing Gordon Bean's Entourage.

Hank Miller brought some vintage magic handed down to him by Edward Balducci. He showed the group a coin dropper, cigarette holder and 21 cent gimmick.

Max Hapner had 5 cards glue together, one red and 4 black. He passed out a paper clip to spectators and had them try to clip the red card when the cards were face down. No one was successful.

Bill Wysong had a great twist to a rubber band routine.

Brenden Darcel performed a Magic Magazine ace switching routine.

We had a guest (Tommy Evans) and his girl friend (Kayla Erickson) joined us for the evening. Tommy graced us with his version of the miss made bill. Kayla was a great spectator when needed.
