Theme: Halloween

We had a great meeting this month. It started off with a quick meeting to nominate new officers for next year. Dues were paid. And the magic began.

Max Hapner started the magic off with the McComb suit case (paper bag) that held approximately 20 pounds of gimmicks. He shared the item with the group.

Tommy Evans was tasked with showing the group a "simple" trick. He and a spectator tore a napkin into three pieces. The spectator wrote predictions on each piece of paper. Tommy was able to predict 2 out of 3 exactly.

Martin Emeson was able to magically turn a penny to a dime with the use of a magical red block.

TJ showed the group a matching cards that had different color backs.

Hank Miller shared Derek Dingle's book with the group and performed the "Too Many Cards" effect from the book.

Dave WinterMute was all about "JUSTICE". And he explain justice with the use of the Chop Cup.

Lee Wymisner brought in the Tarbell Volume 1 and performed the cut and restored string.

Thomas Paine kept within the theme of the meeting and showed the group a "Metamorphosis" effect with two cards that represented Houdini and Bess.

Chris Faria themed a card effect around "The Black Plague". He followed it up with the discovery of the 4 of clubs with a spinning toy of LED lights.

The meeting ended and we broke up into groups to discuss other bits of business.

At our October meeting, we asked for officer nominations.
Congratulations to the following folks. They are appreciated by their magical friends and recognized as the type of leaders that we would like to follow.
